Utah Wing License Plate Fundraiser
Recently, the Utah Wing, with the assistance of Representative Andrew Stoddard and Senator Daniel Thatcher, was granted a Special Recognition License Plate by the Utah State Legislature. You can view how the Bill progressed through the 2019 Legislative Session here.
As part of the implementation of this Bill and the issuance of the plate to residents of Utah, the startup costs of generating the plate need to be covered by a initial Private donation totaling $7500.00. All startup fees MUST be collected prior to October 2019, so the time is now.
This plate does not require an annual contribution, unlike other Special Group plates that Utah offers.
We’re asking for those of you within the Wing interested in putting these plates on your vehicle and willing to assist with these startup costs to please donate what you can.
To make it convenient, the Utah Wing has set up a donation link to PayPal to aid in collecting these funds for those wishing to use Credit Cards or Online Bank Transfers.
Additionally, you may submit check or Money Orders for donation to the Utah Wing Headquarters building at the following address:
Headquarters Utah Wing
Civil Air Patrol
640 North 2360 West
Salt Lake City, Utah 84116-2956
Any mailed donations made to the Wing MUST be designated as such with a simple note stating “Utah Wing License Plate Donation.”
We are extremely excited at the opportunity this recognition provides each of our members and supporters. We thank you for your generosity.
Civil Air Patrol is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation. Your donation may qualify as a charitable deduction for federal income tax purposes. You and/or your tax professional are responsible for determining applicability.
